CatParade

I was recently involved in decorating a cat statue for 'CatParade'

The purpose of the CatParade was to:

Raise funds for UNICEF, CLAN and Denis Law Legacy Trust's Streetsport Initiative

Involve the local business and arts community

Recognise 100 years of Rotary International in Aberdeen

The project involved replicas of the Kelly’s Cat Statues, which adorn the parapet of Union Bridge, being transformed into unique works of art. The cats are synonymous with Aberdeen’s strong pride.

An exhibition was run from the 1st to the 27th of September in the Union Bridge windows of Waterstones.

The CatParade concluded with an exhibition and then an auction of the decorated Cats at a prestigious event on 28th September 2016 at The Marcliffe Hotel.

Here are some photos of my contribution, she was called 'TAT CAT'
I really enjoyed the whole process.

Yellow Valentines Day

The yellow heart goes up in the heart of Seaton (school road) today, this finishes my part of the project :( It's been a fun time with lots of great experiences and amazing people getting involved. A big thank you to everyone who contributed x

Spreading the LOvE in Seaton - Temporary public art with a positive message

We made mini packets with positive messages to create a art piece at the bus stop. The packets are free for people to take on their journey. There will be more packets added throughout next week.

Some of the art work created today :)

We wrote positive messages we wanted to share with the world ..
