Napkin excitement

It's the small things that make life that little bit more exciting!!!

I got these amazing napkins/ kitchen tissue as a present from my Auntie Mauricia and she was as excited as me with this cute product. They are sold as 'one handed kitchen towels' - especially usefully when you have one hand out of action, with a broken wrist. ;) However it wasn't that that excited me ...it was the cone shape! And the fact that you can fill them with all sorts of food such as crisps. Such a great idea!!!! I just love them!!

WHITE OR BROWN

One Enlightened Evening

So i had two loaves of bread sitting beside my toaster last night and thought i would go for the high calorie tasty heavy option. Then as i was waiting for my toast to pop up i had a wee look to see how much calories i would be scoffing, however I was shocked and surprised to see it was only 115 calorie per slice, no way i thought, that can't be right! Then I looked at the other bread to see how many calories it had and there wasn't much difference between them, after looking at the sugar, salt etc I thought 'wow' thats quite unbelievable. All these years I've been thinking brown bread is much better for you and much lower in calories and probably eating twice as much for that reason and also because one slice doesn't fill you up you need at least 2 or 3. However with the thick heavy tasty white bread one is just right, especially when toasted!!

Not a pair of socks to wear

why is it that i have no socks to wear ?? I go into my sock drawer and this is what i find... a whole bunch of odd socks (36 to be precise) weird but true..

Mmmmmm lights

My naMe in lights ...

It starts with some cardboard and tape to make the letter M

Then I punched holes where I wanted the little fairy lights to go

I covered with deco mâché paper / tissue paper

Punched the holes back in along with the lights

Volia... Finished!
